My second airshow contract was from Laughlin Air Force Base to highlight their annual Air Amistad Airshow. While the airshow was cancelled because of budget issues, the website was up for almost seven months and provided prospective airshow visitors and potential sponsors to see all the performers, attractions, and get other information right from their website. I was contracted to build a customizable website in Wordpress to give their content managers the flexibility they needed to build unique and interactive webpages for airshow visitors. I also took the initiative to size and enhance more than 50 aircraft photos and suggest lightbox, slideshow, and social media options to further enhance the site's user experience. Overall, it was a successful website that make Laughlin AFB stand out from other base airshow websites that don't modern design and web standards.
